As the release of the 2010 Census approaches, data on foreign-born residents living in the U.S. will prove to be an integral factor of how Americans will view their changing nation. In a presentation for the District of Columbia’s mayoral office on African affairs, Jill Wilson tracks demographic trends among African immigrants living in the Washington metropolitan area. The latest findings build on Wilson’s work with the same population, reflected in a presentation from 2003.
