In-Class Experience

We’ve got logistics covered, allowing you to focus on learning from and connecting with seasoned experts in policy and leadership. Class sizes are limited to ensure optimal classroom engagement.

  • In-Person courses

    Classes typically meet 8:30 am – 4:30 pm on two consecutive days.

    • Continental breakfast opens at 8 am
    • Lunch provided (1 hour break)
    • Two short breaks (mid-morning and mid-afternoon)

    Helpful Hints

    • We recommend business casual attire and dressing in layers as classroom temperatures fluctuate.
    • All materials are electronic; please bring a device (e.g. laptop, tablet, or phone).

    Available facilities include:

    • A private wellness room with a lock includes a chair, a small refrigerator, and power outlets
    • Coat closets
    • Breakout rooms
    • Wi-Fi
    • Restrooms
  • Live Virtual courses

    Virtual courses often meet in multiple 3-4 hour sessions held weekly.

    • Meet on Zoom
      • Please plan to keep your camera on
      • Sessions are not recorded
      • Single link for all sessions
    • Connect with other participants in smaller break-out groups

Coursework

Detailed information about coursework will be shared approximately 2-3 weeks before the course begins (or upon later registration). Select an option below to learn more about the expectations for most courses.

    • Women’s Leadership Program

      • 3-5 hours work between each session

Communication About Your Course

A welcome message is sent to all registered participants approximately 2-3 weeks before the course begins (or upon later registration). This email typically includes:

  • A brief introduction to the course and instructor(s)
  • Expected lunch break and end time for each session
  • Prework (including readings if applicable) and/or course agenda
  • Information about dietary requests
