Brookings co-sponsored an event hosted by the Economic Club of Minnesota at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center to celebrate the 20th anniversary of NAFTA and to discuss the future of free trade. Former Congressman Bill Frenzel, a guest scholar of the Economic Studies program, was honored with the Champion of Free Trade Award.
