Content from the Brookings Institution India Center is now archived. After seven years of an impactful partnership, as of September 11, 2020, Brookings India is now the Centre for Social and Economic Progress, an independent public policy institution based in India.

Brookings India in collaboration with the U.S. Embassy held a private roundtable discussion on “Investing in the International Order” featuring Anthony Blinken, Deputy Secretary of State; Nisha Biswal, Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs; and Michael Pelletier, Deputy Chief of Mission, New Delhi. The discussion was chaired and moderated by Vikram Singh Mehta, Chairman, Brookings India. The discussion revolved around the issues of international institutions including financial institutions, internet governance, and food and global health security.
