On Monday Baltimore police officer Edward Nero, one of seven officers being tried separately in relation to the arrest and death of Freddie Grey, was acquitted on all counts. The events surrounding Grey’s trial continue to highlight the challenges, economic and otherwise, faced by Baltimore’s residents.
