VIDEO: Do American Kids Have Too Much Homework?

Do American kids have too much homework? Despite public perceptions that they do, Tom Loveless, in a new Brown Center on Education Policy report, “Homework in America,” finds that “data do not support the view that the homework burden is growing, nor do they support the belief that the proportion of students with a lot of homework has increased in recent years.” Watch the video below to get some of the highlights, and download the report for more detail.
