On October 23, Governance Studies at Brookings hosted a forum on reimagining the legal and technological frameworks to strengthen and boost civic participation and citizen engagement. Darrell West, VP and director of Governance Studies and the director of the Center for Technology Innovation, noted that the Working Group on Legal Frameworks for Public Participation has produced new tools “designed to create a more supportive and productive environment for public participation.”
