Philip H. Gordon
Philip H. Gordon is the Mary and David Boies senior fellow in U.S. foreign policy at the Council on Foreign Relations. He was special assistant to the president and White House coordinator for the Middle East, North Africa, and the Gulf Region from 2013 to 2015. From 2009 to 2013, Gordon served as assistant secretary of state for European and Eurasian affairs, and from 2000 to 2008, Gordon was a senior fellow at the Brookings Institution in Washington, DC.
