Housing in Charlotte is relatively affordable, but costs are rising and significant challenges exist, particularly among low-income and minority populations. As a result, the housing equation varies across and within the metro area. In his presentation at Housing Charlotte 2007, Bruce Katz discusses current housing challenges in Charlotte, principles of success, as well as where the city, and the nation, go from here.
