Oslo's 20-year Legacy of Failure Lives On

Despite the failure of the Oslo Accords to establish peace between Israel and Palestine, U.S. policymakers remain loyal to the agreement 20 years later. Khaled Elgindy argues that while Secretary Kerry’s approach to the recently renewed negotiations in the Middle East incorporates new elements, the current “peace process” clings to the dysfunctional framework established by Oslo and is also likely to fail.
