The State of the Union: Obama's first 2016 campaign speech

President Obama’s final State of the Union address will serve two purposes: highlighting his achievements and discussing what the future of America should look like. In this post, John Hudak argues the president's speech will sound less like a formal address to a Joint Session of Congress and more like his 2012 stump speech. This State of the Union will double as the president's first stump speech on the 2016 campaign trail.
