U.S. Relations with Israel and Middle East Policy
As violence continued to rage in Baghdad and around Iraq, President Bush met with Israel's Prime Minister Ehud Olmert here in Washington yesterday. The two leaders have a lot to talk about: Iraq spiraling out of control, Iran's nuclear ambitions, and last summer's war between Israel and Hezbollah in Lebanon.
Joining me here in studio to tackle these questions:
David Makovsky, at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy; Shibley Telhami, professor at the University of Maryland and nonresident senior fellow at the Brookings Institution; and Anthony Shadid, reporter for the Washington Post.
Good morning, gentleman.
