The Transparency and Accountability Project hosted several briefings on African governance and civil society issues in October surrounding the World Bank/IMF Annual Meeting. Highlights include a discussion of the Ibrahim Index of African Governance with Robert Rotberg, a briefing on the effectiveness of African governance institutions and a forum with four African finance ministers and Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Brookings Distinguished Visiting Fellow.
