Reports to the United Nations on Internally Displaced Persons

As Representative of the UN Secretary-General on the Human Rights of Internally Displaced Persons, Walter Kälin (the position was previously held by Francis M. Deng) reports annually to the Human Rights Council (formerly the Commission on Human Rights) and bi-annually to the General Assembly. He also issues reports following missions and working visits to countries experiencing problems of internal displacement.
