Sarah Rahman
Policy Analyst, Metropolitan Policy Program
Sarah Rahman is a policy analyst in the Metropolitan Policy Program. Her work there revolves around the Blueprint for American Prosperity, a multi-year policy series examining metropolitan priorities to inform federal policy reforms. She performs policy outreach, reviews best practices of federal, state, and local program implementation, and conducts timely policy research. She has contributed to the Blueprint publications,

Prior to joining Brookings, Sarah was an economic development planner for the City of Cambridge, Massachusetts. Her previous work experiences also include doing budget-related policy analysis for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and financial markets research for the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. Sarah has a dual Masters in Public Affairs and Urban & Regional Planning from Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School and a B.S. in Applied Math-Economics from Brown University.
