The Studio at Brookings is available free to news organizations for live TV and radio inserts and taped video and audio interviews with Brookings experts. This is a simple solution to arranging broadcast quality interviews with Brookings scholars who have expertise on a wide range of policy issues in the news. The studio is staffed by an experienced broadcast studio technician daily. Contact the Studio Manager to make arrangements for a feed from the Studio at Brookings. The output of the studio is linked via fiber optic line to Verizon's AVOC and the Vyvx network for switching to your TV and cable network or station. It is also equipped to provide an IFB feed from your anchor and/or producer. For radio interviews, permanent dialup ISDN service has been installed. The Studio at Brookings is also available at a reasonable charge to outside organizations feeding inserts to TV and radio news shows or producing their own programs, and to TV and radio producers in need of a centrally-located and well-equipped production facility or insert studio in downtown Washington.
