Aaron McKethan is a research director at the Engelberg Center for Health Reform at the Brookings Institution where he manages research and implementation projects focused on provider payment and delivery system reforms. Dr. McKethan was previously a health policy consultant where he focused primarily on state health reform, Medicaid financing issues, and delivery system reform. He is currently assistant professorial lecturer of health policy in the Department of Health Policy at the George Washington University Medical Center, School of Public Health and Health Services. He received his PhD in Public Policy Analysis from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he also received a Bachelor of Arts in political science.
