Min Gayles Kim manages activities related to research and development of a health care performance measurement and reporting database system that will document best practices, lessons learned, and emerging trends in performance measurement and reporting. This project is designed to help inform policy decision-making on quality improvement, provider reimbursement and contracting, and contribute to greater consumer transparency in the health care system.
Prior to joining Brookings, Kim worked at the National Committee for Quality Assurance, developing and maintaining Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set measures. She also has worked in community hospital Emergency Departments and multi-specialty health care offices.
Kim earned a master’s degree in Public Health from Boston University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington.
