GovWatch Party Unity in Congressional Voting

The following tracks party unity scores dating back to 1954. Roll call votes used for the party unity study are those on which a majority of voting Democrats opposed a majority of voting Republicans. The party unity scores are based on the percentage of the time that members voted in agreement with the majority of their party on such party unity votes.
