The Asian Economic Panel (AEP), founded in April 2001, brings together prominent economists from around the world who gather twice yearly to discuss economic issues that are of vital importance to Asian economies, collectively or individually.
Brookings Global Hosts 2007 Asian Economic Panel
On April 9 and 10, The Brookings Institution's Global Economy and Development Group hosted two days of roundtable discussion on issues of vital importance to Asian countries. This year's focus is on the 10-year anniversary of the Asian financial crisis with special sessions on Asian trade and Asia's new economic giants, China and India.
