Shang-Jin Wei is an expert on U.S.-China economic integration and other international finance and trade issues. His current projects include an examination of outsourcing and its effect on productivity and employment. His is a former advisor to the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank. Wei left Brookings in June 2008.
