Nonresident Fellow, Foreign Policy, Saban Center for Middle East Policy, U.S. Relations with the Islamic World

Vaughan Turekian is the chief international officer for American Association for the Advancement of Science. At Brookings, he directs the science and technology task force of the Project on U.S. Relations with the Islamic World. Vaughan was a two-time recipient of the U.S. State Department’s superior honor award for his work on climate change and avian influenza.
