As the research director for the Center on Children and Families, Adam Thomas led its successful FamilyScape project and was instrumental in helping launch its Social Genome Project. In August 2011, Thomas left Brookings to pursue a full-time teaching position as an assistant professor at the Georgetown Public Policy Institute.
