Thomas Sanchez is an expert on transportation, land use, urban and regional planning, and environmental justice. He also serves as director of the Urban Affairs and Planning Program at Virginia Tech, editor of Housing Policy Debate, review editor for the Journal of the American Planning Association, and chair of the Transportation Research Board Social and Economic Factors in Transportation Committee.
