Visiting Fellow, Foreign Policy

A former ambassador to Turkey, Mark Parris served as a career foreign service officer including posts in the Soviet Union, Israel and Portugal. He also was a policy advisor for the U.S. State Department and National Security Council. Parris currently directs the "Turkey 2007" project at Brookings.
