Nonresident Fellow, Center for Northeast Asian Policy Studies

Shih-chung Liu was counselor and senior counselor to the president of Taiwan (2000-06) and vice chairperson of the research and planning committee in Taiwan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs (2006-08). He is a frequent political commentator. His interests include Taiwan's foreign policy, its relations with the People's Republic of China and the United States, and domestic politics.
