An urban planning and policy expert, Robert Lang focuses on suburban studies, demographic and spatial analysis, economic development, metropolitan governance, transportation, the "built environment," and the Intermountain West. He is a professor of sociology at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, co-director of Brookings Mountain West and director of The Lincy Institute.
