An expert on revolutions and fragile states, Jack A. Goldstone has worked for the World Bank, the National Intelligence Council, USAID and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development on methods for forecasting and responding to political conflicts. Author or editor of ten books and over 100 research papers, Goldstone is the Virginia E. and John T. Hazel Jr. professor of public policy and director of the Center for Global Policy at George Mason University.
