Nonresident Senior Fellow, Foreign Policy
Ashraf Ghani is a nonresident senior fellow in Foreign Policy and is currently chancellor of Kabul University. As finance minister of Afghanistan from 2002-2004, he set the path for Afghanistan’s recovery after September 11 and, in 2003, he was recognized as the best finance minister of Asia by Emerging Markets.
