Jean-Marie Guehenno is a nonresident senior fellow at Brookings and the Center on International Cooperation at New York University. Previously, Guehenno was the under-secretary-general for peacekeeping operations at the United Nations from 2000 to 2008. He is an expert in peacekeeping, global governance and transnational security threats.
