Government executives and managers operate in a complex financial environment. Executives confront a variety of issues, including ensuring that funds are used consistent with their appropriations; developing a business case for outsourcing and other policy decisions; managing grants; and developing performance and accountability reports. This course introduces financial tools and frameworks for making decisions in the context of public agencies.
