Fellowships

LEGIS Congressional Fellowship for Government Officials

In cooperation with the U.S. Congress, the Brookings Institution offers government managers the opportunity to experience the legislative process firsthand. Brookings Executive Education offers two seven-month sessions and one full-year session of the LEGIS Fellowship, which allow Fellows to immerse themselves in the operations of Capitol Hill by working either on a congressional personal or committee staff. The program is designed for government employees who need an in-depth understanding of the U.S. Congress and the legislative process in order to better serve the needs of their agencies.
