A Foreign Policy Event

Afghanistan, Iraq and Iran: An Update

Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq

Event Summary

With Afghanistan’s rapidly spreading insurgency and Iraqi efforts to wind down the U.S. mission in that country, the incoming administration will inherit two complicated foreign policy priorities from the first day in office. Iran’s continuing nuclear aspirations and regional agenda further complicate an already challenging foreign policy landscape that continues to evolve day by day.
