Event Summary

From the development of insecticide-treated bed netting to high-visibility advocacy, the private sector brings a diverse set of skills and expertise to the fight against malaria. While a number of corporations are already actively involved in the fight against malaria worldwide, the critical question remains -- how to further galvanize corporate action. On March 12, 2007, the Global Business Coalition on HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (GBC) and the Brookings Institution co-hosted a private sector forum to promote key achievements and to present practical methods for increased corporate involvement in an effective and innovative malaria response.
