Transitional Justice and Displacement - Case Studies

 

CASE STUDIES

 

A core component of the joint research project between the Brookings-LSE Project on Internal Displacement and the International Center for Transitional Justice was the preparation of 14 case studies contributed by leading scholars and experts. The case studies were commissioned and developed through six collaborative working groups—criminal justice, gender justice, justice-sensitive security sector reform, reparations, restitution and truth-telling—and covered a variety of country contexts, including Colombia, Kosovo, Liberia, Timor-Leste, Turkey and more.
