Policy/Research Assistant, Metropolitan Policy Program
Joseph Kane is a policy/research assistant at the Metropolitan Policy Program. His work contributes to the Metropolitan Infrastructure Initiative, with a focus on transportation and freight movement. Prior to Brookings, he was an economist at the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. He holds a master of urban and environmental planning degree from the University of Virginia and a B.A. in economics and history from the College of William and Mary.
