Daring to Lead

How do you muster courage? How do you shape the way your organization responds to today’s challenges? This intensive weeklong course provides a foundation for courageous leadership and teaches you how to best design and adapt organizations in a government context.

You will be introduced to systems thinking, an approach to problem solving that helps manage, adapt, and expose a wide range of choices and the dynamics of a situation. Hear from world-class Washington University faculty and C-suite guest speakers who will share how they found the courage to act. Come away with the thinking that will enable you to be an authentic leader who exerts sustainable impact on your organization and leads a full and complete life.

Daring to Lead will be held at Olin Business School on the campus of Washington University in St. Louis. Tuition for this residential course includes five nights lodging, all meals, and program materials.

Residential tuition is $4,500 which includes lodging, meals, and program materials. Missouri residents are eligible for nonresidential tuition which is $3,500, which includes lunch, breaks, and program materials.

Daring to Lead fulfills one of the requirements for the Certificate in Public Leadership and the Master of Science in Leadership degree.
