Web Design Internship
The Office of Communications offers several internships throughout the year to individuals with experience in mass communications, public relations, journalism, or a related field. These internships offer the challenge of assisting in the day-to-day activities of a busy communications office.
The Office of Communications is seeking an intern for the Fall to assist in the production of web graphics and interactive visualizations. Intern responsibilities would include the creation of charts and graphics for the Brookings website and publications, as well as assisting in the requirements-gathering, design, and QA of online interactive graphics.
Undergraduate students, graduate students, and recent college graduates majoring in design, journalism, or related fields are encouraged to apply. Proficiency in Illustrator and Excel is strongly recommended. Interest in or experience with programming languages such as JavaScript and Processing is a plus, but is not required. Please note that this internship is unpaid. Hours are negotiable.
