Online Analytics Internship
The Office of Communications offers several internships throughout the year to individuals with experience in mass communications, public relations, journalism, or a related field. These internships offer the challenge of assisting in the day-to-day activities of a busy communications office.
The Office of Communications is seeking an intern to assist in the gathering and analysis of website traffic data for the purpose of generating reports on online activity from visitors to the Brookings website. Intern responsibilities would include using online analytics tools to gather and analyze data from the Brookings website, as well as assisting on special projects and ad-hoc requests related to online interactions.
Undergraduate students, graduate students, and recent college graduates majoring in economics, finance, marketing, statistics, or related fields are encouraged to apply. Proficiency in Excel is required. Familiarity with SEO, online analytics tools, and a curiosity for and understanding of the online experience are strongly valued, but not required. Strong complex problem-solving skills are also preferred. Please note that this internship is unpaid.
