Kerri Petrin, MPH
Senior Research Associate, Engelberg Center for Health Care Reform
Kerri Petrin is a senior research associate with the Engelberg Center for Health Care Reform at The Brookings Institution. Ms. Petrin supports the Center’s work in performance measurement and public reporting.
Prior to joining Brookings, Ms. Petrin worked as a project manager with the Puget Sound Health Alliance, a multi-stakeholder regional collaborative working to improve quality and efficiency while reducing the rate of health care cost increases in the Puget Sound Region. She worked mainly in the area of quality measurement and public reporting, including measure selection, report development, and stakeholder engagement. Past projects include health care claims data analysis to project potential cost savings and identify areas for quality improvement, survey design and results analysis, and environmental scans on topics including hospital readmissions and the patient-centered medical home.
Ms. Petrin holds a Master of Public Health degree from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Science in biology and psychology from Duke University.
